New Dog Co ("we," "us") runs newdogco.com. This page explains what personal information the website collects, why, who processes it, and your choices. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the site.
What we collect
The email you submit to the free "First Week Kit" form. If — and only if — you enter your email to request the free kit, we collect that email address. There is no other form on the site, and we do not ask for your name, address, or phone number. That submission is delivered and processed for us by Web3Forms (see their privacy policy). We use your email for two things: (1) to deliver the free kit, and (2) to occasionally send product news, new guides, and shop updates. We do not use a third-party email-marketing company, and we never sell or share your address. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or using our contact channel, and you can ask us to delete your address whenever you like.
Anonymous, aggregate traffic stats. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless — it sets no tracking cookies and does not fingerprint or follow you across sites. It reports only aggregate, non-identifying figures (page views, referring sites, country-level location, device type). We cannot use it to identify you.
A setting stored in your own browser. Your language choice (English/Spanish) is saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
We do not run accounts, collect payment details, serve third-party ads, or build advertising profiles on this site.
Purchases happen on Etsy
Our guides and products are sold through our Etsy shop, not on this website. When you buy, checkout and payment are handled entirely by Etsy under Etsy's own Privacy Policy. We never see or store your card details. Any information you share when messaging us on Etsy is handled under Etsy's policies.
Who processes your data (third parties)
- Web3Forms — delivers the free-kit form submission (your email).
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and provides the cookieless analytics. As our security/CDN provider, Cloudflare may set essential cookies to protect the site from abuse; we set no advertising or tracking cookies.
- Etsy — handles all purchases and shop messages.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Cookies
The website itself sets no tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Cloudflare's network may set strictly-necessary security cookies to keep the site online and safe.
Your rights (GDPR / CCPA and similar)
Because the only personal data we hold is an email address you chose to give us, your rights are simple to exercise. You may request to access, correct, or delete your email, and opt out of our emails at any time. To do so, reply to any email, or contact us (the fastest channel is a message through our Etsy shop). We don't sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. We'll respond within the timeframe your local law requires.
Children
This site is meant for adults caring for pets and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes to email use would be described here before they take effect.
